There are a few things to consider about before commissioning an artist. You may know a specific quality or style that a particular artist has, but are still unsure of what you want. In this case, I recommend to meet with me and talk about the details.
I also suggest to find examples of what you want, so it is easier to discuss your likes, dislikes, or tease out your real interest. So, contact me and let’s get you a piece of art that is uniquely suited for your taste!
FIGURE OUT WHAT YOU WANT.
Before commissioning a work of art, you should be able to answer these questions for the artist:
- What do you want the work to look like?
- What subject matter, size, materials, colors, and style?
- Why are you commissioning the piece?
- Who is it for? Is there a special occasion?
- What is your budget?
